Manoj Bajpayee clarifies on viral ‘fake’ video ahead of Bihar polls: ‘No Association…’
Manoj Bajpayee cleared the air on whether he is joining any political party ahead of the Bihar elections or not.

Ahead of the Bihar Elections 2025, names of many actors joining hands with political parties have surfaced, and one among them is actor Manoj Bajpayee. However, clearing the air, the actor took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and wrote, “No association or allegiance with any political party.” He also shared the link to the video, which has now been deleted.
The actor urged his fans “to stop spreading such distorted content.” He stated, “I would like to publicly say that I have no association or allegiance with any political party. The video being circulated is a fake, patched-up edit of an ad I did for @PrimeVideoIN,” he wrote.
“I sincerely appeal to everyone sharing it to stop spreading such distorted content and urge people not to engage with or encourage such misleading content,” he concluded. The clip, which allegedly showed Manoj endorsing a political party, is actually an edited version of an old advertisement he had featured in.

After the actor shared the post, fans flooded the comment section. A fan said, “Glad you clarified it. People should verify before believing such edited clips, but I must say that this video was not posted by the real X account of @yadavtejashwi.” Another comment read, “In today’s digital age, deepfakes and deceptive editing are a genuine threat to every public figure’s reputation. Relying on such manipulated content to assign party allegiance undermines the very foundation of informed political discourse.”
Meanwhile, many celebs from B-town have approached the courts to prevent the misuse of their names and photos via deepfake videos and AI. These actors include Hrithik Roshan, Karan Johar, Suniel Shetty, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Akshay Kumar, among others.
