Exit polls: Most exit polls predict a win between zero and five seats. It also said that 65 per cent of women voters have supported the NDA, while just 27 per cent voted for the Mahagathbandhan.
The Prashant Kishor factor didn’t seem to work for the Bihar elections as most of the exit polls are indicating a sweeping victory for NDA with Chanakya predicting 186 seats for the BJP-led NDA, 50 seats for RJD-Congress-led Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance), and others getting 7.
The exit poll results for the crucial assembly elections in Bihar are being declared on Tuesday evening, following the conclusion of the second phase of polling. According to the Matrize exit poll, the NDA will sweep regions such as Mithilanchal and Bhagalpur. It also said that the women voters have supported the NDA, with 65 per cent of them voting for the ruling alliance. The OBCs and the SCs have also voted for the NDA, with 51 per cent and 49 per cent voting for it, respectively.
While Dainik Bhaskar’s poll predicts 145-160 seats for the NDA and 73 to 91 for the Grand Alliance, this poll gives the Jan Suraaj Party between zero and three seats.

Exit poll projections are made by election survey agencies based on interviews of voters as they come out after casting their votes. These may vary widely from the actual results.
While the NDA, comprising the BJP, JD(U) and LJP (Ram Vilas) as the major alliance partners, is looking to return to power in Bihar, the opposition INDIA bloc, which has the RJD, the Congress and the Left parties as the main constituents, is looking to form the government with RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav its chief ministerial face.
