Based on the real-life incident at the Raniganj coalfield and the story of the late Shri Jaswant Singh Gill, who played a major role in rescuing all the surviving miners inside the flooded coal mine in Raniganj, the film was released theatrically in October this year.

2. Zara Hatke Zara Bachke

Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan starrer Zara Hatke Zara Bachke will be released on Jio Cinema this weekend. Revolving around the couple struggling to buy their own house using a government program, the film shows the dynamics of their relationship as they pretend to seek divorce to move a new house away from the family.

3. Chittha

Release date: 28 November 2023

Starring actor Siddharth in the lead role, Chittha is also set to release on Disney+Hotstar this weekend. Focusing on the life of Eeswaran and his 8-year-old niece, the film shows how the lead actor develops a strong bond with the little girl and raises her as his own daughter.

A supernatural-horror film, Vikram K Kumar’s Dhootha will release on Amazon Prime Video on 1 December 2023. Featuring actor Naga Chaitanya Akkineni in the lead role, the film shows how the lead actor’s life takes a major turn after he tries to unveil dark secrets behind newspapers predicting tragedies.

5. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny
