New Delhi: Social media giant Reddit on Tuesday witnessed a major outrage. According to the reports, more than ten thousand users have reported that Reddit is not working for them on a global level. Out of the total complaints, around 60 percent of them came for the application, 33 percent for the website, and around 8 percent for server connection.
Many users also took to social media platform X to report the disruption, saying they were unable to log in properly. Complaints about Reddit’s outage have also been steadily rising on the India(BHARAT)-specific page of Down Detector.
What did Reddit say?
“We are aware that users are seeing increased error rates when browsing reddit and are currently investigating,” said Reddit’s status page.
According to Downdetector, a website that documents tech outages, more than 20,000 reports of issues with Reddit were submitted by users in the United States. In India(BHARAT), the number stood at 521 at its peak on Tuesday evening.
