Rohini-Tejashwi fight BIG UPDATE: Lalu Yadav’s 4 daughters leaves Patna

Rohini-Tejashwi Feud: Lalu Prasad Yadav’s family fight took a new turn two days after the RJD faced a massive defeat in the Bihar assembly election. A day after Rohini Acharya’s explosive announcement that she was cutting all connections with her family, four other daughters of Lalu Yadav were seen quietly leaving the family residence in Patna with their children and travelling to Delhi. This hints at a major split in the Yadav family, which is one of the most influential and powerful political families in the state.

Rohini-Tejashwi fight: What Exactly Happened?

The feud in Lalu Yadav’s family seems to be long-standing which widened and became public two days after the major setback for RJD in Bihar assembly election. Rohini Acharya tweeted that she was cutting all ties with the family.

Yadav’s other daughters – Rajlakshmi, Ragini, Hema and Chanda – quietly left the family’s house. Lalu Yadav’s four daughters, including Hema, were seen leaving for Delhi with their families, news agency ANI reported.

According to several reports, citing sources, the Yadav daughters had been disturbed by last two days developments.

The family feud comes when RJD is still reeling from its sharp fall in the Bihar Assembly elections.

How Did The Turmoil Start?

The family fight came in public domain when Yada’s Singapore-based daughter Rohini Acharya tweeted on X, publicly quitting politics and the party. Rohini alleged that she had been facing “filthy abuses”, stating that someone had even tried to hit her with a slipper during a verbal spat involving Tejashwi’s close aides Sanjay Yadav and Rameez.

More Members Leave Family House

Amid all the chaos, Lalu Prasad’s other daughters – Rajlakshmi, Ragini, and Chanda left Lalu and Rabri Devi’s home located in 10 Circular Road, Patna.

Rohini’s accusations prompted a significant response from her older brother Tej Pratap, who was removed from both the family and RJD earlier this year.

Pratap shared a post from Janshakti Janata Dal’s social media account, writing that the episode had “shaken his heart to the core”. He said he ignored several attacks, but his sister’s humiliation was “unbearable under any circumstances”.

Warning about the consequences, Tej Pratap directly appealed to his father: “Father, give me a signal, just one nod, and the people of Bihar will bury these Jaichands.”

Notably, Tej Pratap was removed from the party following his Facebook post that triggered massive controversy. In the Facebook post Tej Pratap claimed that he is in a romantic relationship. This had reignited debate around his tense marriage and ongoing divorce case.
