SIR in Bengal: Enumeration form available on ECI website, check steps to fill it out and protect your vote

SIR in Bengal: In a major update for voters away from home or outside West Bengal, the Systematic Initiative for Revision (SIR) form is available online from Friday evening on the Election Commission of India(BHARAT)’s official website – voters.eci.gov.in/Homepage. Voters can visit the ECI website and fill the form. The SIR form has been made live after a brief delay due to technical glitches. The online process is managed by the Election Commission and has no interference from the CEO of the West Bengal office, unlike the offline process.
How To Access Online SIR Forms?
To fill the enumeration forms online, electors have to visit the official website the Election Commission. Or they can also access the form through the ECINET mobile app.

SIR form: Here’s How To Fill The Form
- Visit the official website, search and click on the option ‘Fill Enumeration form’
- Then enter the login details like – registered mobile number, or email ID, EPIC number
- Login details such as registered mobile number, or email ID, EPIC number of the voter are required
- Fill up the requested details
- Enter the captcha code given
- An OTP will be generated, enter it and click on the submit button
- You will be directed to a list of states. Choose West Bengal
- Another field will appear, enter EPIC number
- Check details like your name on the Aadhaar card matches your name
- Fill all the remaining details and click on the submit button
What If Details Do Not Match?
The phone number of the respective Booth Level Officer has been provided on the portal. Electors can contact the BLO and follow the instructed process.
Not Able To Access Online Sir Forms?
Voters can contact their BLO. The official portal of ECI also has an option to book an appointment with the BLO.
How To Book Call With BLO?
Electors can book a call with their respective BLO. To avail this facility, they can click on the tab provided on the portal. They have to enter the EPIC number and the captcha code.
