Sunjay Kapur property dispute: Karisma Kapoor’s children’s lawyer claims entire amount missing from bank account

The property dispute within the family of the late industrialist Sunjay Kapur is escalating. Approximately Rs 30,000 crore (around $30 billion) is to be divided. During the hearing, the Delhi High Court questioned Sunjay Kapur’s wife, Priya Sachdev, requesting that details of her husband’s assets not be disclosed. Meanwhile, the lawyer representing Sunjay’s ex-wife, Karisma Kapoor, claimed that the money mentioned in the late industrialist’s will has disappeared from his bank account.

Justice Jyoti Singh asked Priya, “How long should we keep this in a sealed envelope? Court procedures have limits. How can I pass this order? Show me the judgment that says this can be kept confidential.” Priya told the court that she didn’t want to hide anything but wanted Karisma Kapoor to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

Priya Sachdev Kapur, the third wife of industrialist Sunjay Kapur, has filed an application in the Delhi High Court seeking non-disclosure of her late husband’s personal assets. She has also requested a non-disclosure agreement in this regard. In her application, Priya Kapur stated that Karisma’s children and mother-in-law, Rani Kapur, should sign a non-disclosure agreement in the interest of “cybersecurity” and other security concerns. Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor was Sunjay Kapur’s second wife. In the previous hearing, the court had asked Priya Kapur to provide details of her late husband’s personal assets.
