Tanushree Dutta sides with Rakhi Sawant's estranged husband Adil Khan, accuses her of being 'evil'

Remember the #MeToo movement started by actress Tanushree Dutta. She has been at loggerheads with model-actress Rakhi Sawant since 2018, has now showcased her support for Rakhi’s estranged husband, Adil Khan Durrani. In the latest, the 39-year-old has made shocking accusations against the former Bigg Boss contestant.

The Bhagam Bhag actress further revealed how Rakhi Sawant tried to tarnish her image during the #MeToo movement. Not just this, Tanushree Dutta also accused Rakhi of being a ‘psychopath who attacked her verbally, harming her mental health’.

On Rakhi Sawant’s past cases

At a recent media interaction, Tanushree Dutta dug up past cases where Rakhi Sawant has been held liable. Making a big revelation about the same, the actress stated that ‘amongst Rakhi’s victims, two boys even died by suicide because of her’.

Tanushree continued that those old victims chose to end feuds this way. She further added that those old victims didn’t want to face Rakhi at all as she spoke so ill of them. Talking about the case registered in her name, she added, ‘the case involving the death of two boys had been registered in Rakhi’s name where she was accused of abetment of suicide’.

Adil Khan Durrani added that the case Tanushree mentioned lasted for four years and ended thereafter as the parents involved couldn’t fight back Rakhi.

On Rakhi’s aggressive behaviour

Tanushree further criticized Rakhi’s behavior saying, “The aggressiveness she has, she fights like an aggressive man. I saw how in the case of Adil and Rajshri she had. Every day there’s a new person to lie to. I don’t know from where. She meets people like this, she is bad. Despite changing so many religions, she could not change herself. I have heard many times that when she realizes that she will be caught, she turns away. Suddenly she will become poor and talk about her difficulties.”

Adil also held Rakhi responsible for his parents’ health issues, adding that she put him in jail for no reason. Not only this, even after coming out of jail, the allegations continued to trouble and affect his parents.

Rakhi Sawant, on her part, has claimed that her now estranged husband Adil, who is a businessman, wanted to use her for his professional gains. Sharing screenshots from her conversation with him, Rakhi said that Adil had no romantic feelings and he wanted to use her as a stepping stone to enter the showbiz world.

Stating one such proof, Rakhi shared a screenshot of her chat with Adil wherein he asked Rakhi to get him work in the entertainment world. The chat also revealed Adil’s wish to enter the controversial reality show Bigg Boss.

Work wise, Tanushree Dutta made her Bollywood debut in Aashiq Banaya Aapne alongside Emraan Hashmi and Sonu Sood.
