US grants visa interview for injured student’s father after MEA takes up issue with authorities

The us has granted an interview – at 9 am Friday – for an emergency visa to the father of Nilam Shinde, the 35-yr-outdated faculty woman in a coma in a California health heart after a side motorway accident on February 14, sources said.
Neelam Shinde from Maharashtra’s Satara was critically injured within the accident on February 14 and has been in a coma at a health heart since then.
Shinde reportedly suffered extreme accidents to her head, hand and chest. Her family has sought an pressing visa to inch to the US to be by her side.
The MEA has taken up the matter with the US. The US side is having a peek into the formalities for early grant of visa for the applicant’s family, the sources cited above said.
Nationalist Congress Birthday party (Sharadchandra Pawar) leader Supriya Sule flagged the case on Wednesday.
“Pupil Neelam Shinde has met with an accident within the USA and is hospitalised in a native health heart,” she said in a submit on X.
“Her father, Tanaji Shinde, from Satara, Maharashtra, India, urgently must talk to his daughter on account of a scientific emergency. Tanaji Shinde has utilized for an pressing visa to the USA and requires assistance,” Sule said.
