US prepares BIG revelations as Donald Trump FINALLY relents, signs bill to release Jeffrey Epstein files, secrets like…
US President Donald Trump has signed a law requiring the Justice Department to release all government files related to Jeffrey Epstein within 30 days.
US President Doland Trump has finally relented in the case of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Trump has signed legislation that obliges his administration to make public all government files related to Jeffrey Epstein. This decision is being considered a major political turning point for Trump, as until recently he had been opposing this move. Epstein, a convicted sex offender in the United States, died in prison in 2019, and since then, many questions have been raised about his case.
Now, under the new law, the US Justice Department must release files, conversation records, and documents related to the investigation into Epstein’s death within 30 days. While portions related to victims’ privacy and ongoing investigations will be redacted, information cannot be withheld on the grounds of political harm or embarrassment. The proposal initially emerged as an unusual coalition in Congress, comprising Democrats, a prominent Republican critic of Trump, and some longtime Trump supporters.
Trump takes a U-turn
Until last week, the Trump administration was opposing the bill. Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert was even summoned to the White House Situation Room to try to persuade her, but she refused to budge. Over the weekend, Trump abruptly reversed course, saying the issue was a distraction from the Republican agenda and that it was necessary to move forward. He wrote on social media that Democrats were using the issue for political purposes and that Republicans should focus on their “amazing victory.”
The bill received overwhelming support in the House of Representatives and passed by a 427-1 vote. Only one Republican, Clay Higgins, opposed the bill, arguing that its language could expose information about innocent individuals whose names only surfaced during the investigation. The Senate subsequently approved it without opposition.
Trump and Epstein’s past ties have long been a topic of discussion in the American media. However, Trump has repeatedly stated that he had no knowledge of Epstein’s crimes and distanced himself from them long ago. Now, with the law taking effect, all eyes will be on how much is revealed in the next 30 days and what major questions these documents answer.
