On Monday, 27 October 2025, Trump categorically ruled out running for Vice President in the 2028 election. He said, “I might be allowed to do it, but I won’t do it. It’s a very cute idea. Yes, I reject it because people won’t like it. It wouldn’t be right.”
What does the US Constitution say?
Under the 22nd Amendment to the US Constitution, no person can be elected to the presidency for a third time.
