Islamabad: We all know and recognise the fact that Pakistan is known for its military and government’s frequent repression against its own citizens. The latest incident occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, where the Pakistani Air Force carried out airstrikes against its own people. In a tragic incident, the Pakistani Air Force has killed at least 30 civilians (included women and children) and injuring many more in attack on the village of Matre Dara, located on the border with Afghanistan.

According to local media reports, at around 2 AM on Monday, Pakistani Air Force JF-17 fighter jets dropped eight LS-6 bombs on the village. These bombs are precision-guided weapons developed by China, believed to be similar to the US Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM). Reports also say that the bombing was so sudden that people didn’t even have a chance to flee.

Following the attack from the PAF, numerous photos and videos surfaced on social media, showing destroyed houses, scattered bodies, and villagers trying to rescue people trapped under the rubble. The death toll is feared to rise further due to the lack of hospitals in the area.
