‘Will have a very big problem…’: Donald Trump issues chilling warning to Hamas, says if Israel-Palestine peace deal…
Donald Trump has issued chilling threat to Hamas. Trump has warned Hamas of serious consequences if the ceasefire agreement with Israel is violated.
United States President Doland Trump on Sunday said that he hoped for a long-term peace in the Middle East but warned Hamas of serious consequences if it violated the ceasefire with Israel. During his interaction with presspersons aboard Air Force One, Trump stated,” I think it (ceasefire) will hold. Well, if it doesn’t hold, it’s Hamas. Hamas will not be hard to deal with very quickly. I hope it holds for Hamas too because they gave us their world on something, so I think it’s going to hold, and if it doesn’t, then they’ll have a very big problem.”
What exactly did Doland Trump say about Hamas and the ceasefire deal?
President Trump pointed out the broad support for the peace plan, which has had several volunteers joining the Stabilization Force to help maintain peace in the region. When asked why he feels that this peace plan will hold up unlike others, Trump mentioned how “everyone agrees” to the plan this time, and credited the strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities as a pivotal moment which made the deal possible, ” as reported by news agency ANI.
When did Trump issue this warning, and what was the context behind it?
Doland Trump stated, “A year ago, it would have been very tough. I think the big thing was when we took out the nuclear power in Iran, we took out that nuclear capability, which would have happened over the next month to two months. That made a whole big difference in the Middle East. It made it possible to do the deal.”
Gaza’s Health Ministry has said that at least 93 Palestinians have been killed and 324 others have been injured in Israeli attacks since the ceasefire began on October 11. As per the officials, 19 people were killed and seven more wounded in Israeli strikes over the last 48 hours alone. Furthermore, the ministry said that since October 7, 2023, when the conflict began, a total of 68,519 Palestinians have been killed and more than 170,000 injured in Gaza.
