ZEE proposes to produce biographical film on late industrialist Ratan Tata’s life to pay tribute to his legacy

On Thursday, ZEE Entertainment Enterprises shared its sadness over the passing of Padma Vibhushan Ratan Tata, recognising him as a beacon of leadership, vision, compassion, and work ethic for plenty of generations of Indians. In honour of his extraordinary legacy, Punit Goenka, MD and CEO of ZEEL announced plans to give a biographical film celebrating Ratan Tata’s legacy. Produced by ZEE Studios, the film aims to shine a spotlight on his significant contributions to India’s economy and the positive impact he made on the arena.

Mr. Goenka believes that Ratan Tata’s extraordinary achievements has to be showcased no longer simply to India but to the arena, specially inspiring the formative years. ZEE is committed to taking meaningful steps to bring this vision to life.

R Gopalan, Chairman of ZEEL stated, “The whole board is saddened by the actual proven fact that India will miss Mr. Tata. We feel that the film will make impact on the arena at large, and we're committed to bringing his story to life in a strategy to have the option to inspire and motivate audiences.”

The film may in all probability be delivered to life by ZEE Studios, with Umesh Bansal, Chief Business Officer expressing, “We are honoured and proud to work on a full-length documentary/biographical film on the life of Shri Ratan Tata Ji. We believe that it truly is miles our duty to celebrate such personality and his legacy, and we assure that we'll depart no stone unturned to give a real account of his contribution and depict his life in an appropriate manner.”

This project awaits approval from TATA Sons, but once greenlit, ZEE Studios plans to donate the profits generated from the film to social causes and give a boost to those in need. To make certain the film reaches a global target audience, ZEE Studios will collaborate with WION (World is One News) as a co-producer, leveraging its extensive viewership in over 190 countries to enlarge the film’s impact worldwide.
