Meet actor whose father once challenged Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, his debut film was super flop, quit acting forever, he is now…

Many stars within the film industry have seen their teens try acting. Some have changed into more famous than their parents, while others have struggled. One notable case is the son of an actor from the classic film Sholay, who had a disappointing acting career. Are you able to guess who he's?

The debut film of any actor is critical for shaping their career, and Rani Mukerji seriously isn't really any exception. She made her mark within the industry with the 1997 film Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat, a movie that also launched the career of one among the industry’s top villains. Unfortunately, despite the promising beginnings, the film turned out to be a significant flop.

The unforgettable portrayal of Gabbar by Amjad Khan in Sholay continues to resonate with audiences today. In a film stuffed with legendary actors like Sanjeev Kumar, Dharmendra, and Amitabh Bachchan, Amjad Khan in actuality stole the spotlight, leaving an indelible mark on Indian cinema.

Directed by Ashok Gaikwad, Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat used to be released in 1997 and featured a narrative and songs that resonated with audiences. Irrespective of this initial appeal, the film in a roundabout way failed on the box place of business. It marked the debut of Rani Mukerji and Shadaab Khan, both of whom took their first steps into the sector of acting with this project.

This film introduced a fresh pairing in Bollywood, but unfortunately, the target market rejected them outright. While Rani Mukerji went on to secure more roles and remains an active presence within the industry, Shadaab Khan’s career took a downturn after this initial venture.

While many still to take note Shadaab Khan’s father, the iconic Bollywood villain Amjad Khan, few are responsive to Shadaab’s real name. Unfortunately, his entry into the acting world used to be met with disappointment, as his career struggled to take off.

Though Shadaab appeared in different films later on, none achieved success. He later ventured into direction, but that too failed. Nevertheless, he found a new path as a writer, penning a biography about his legendary father, which used to be launched by none in place of Amitabh Bachchan. Today, Shadaab Khan is receiving popularity of his work as an author.
