Ajit Pawar faction is the real NCP, rules Maharashtra Assembly Speaker
Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar decided on Thursday that the Ajit Pawar faction is the ‘real NCP’ political party. The decision was based on the factor of the legislative majority.
This comes following directions from the Supreme Court. The Election Commission (EC) previously ruled in favour of Ajit Pawar, who rebelled against his uncle and NCP supremo Sharad Pawar, granting him the party symbol.
