Amitabh Bachchan’s and his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s names found in Uttar Pradesh voter list

New Delhi: A shocking case has come to light during the Special Summary Revision (SSR) process in the district, causing a sensation throughout the area. The case is from the Kachhiyana locality in the city’s Kotwali area, where the names of two people registered at house number 54 have raised questions about the voter list’s authenticity.

The names of Amitabh Bachchan and his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, were found registered at house number 54. Residents of the Kachhiyana locality say that film actor Amitabh Bachchan’s family never lived at this address, and the house itself no longer exists. A Shiva temple now stands at the place where the house once stood, reports News18.

Amitabh Bachchan’s Name Found to be Fake

When the Local 18 team reached the spot, the whole matter became clearer. No such form was submitted in this year’s SSR process. The residents of the locality said that the names of film actor Amitabh Bachchan and his father were wrongly added. The Bachchan family never lived here, nor did they ever visit. According to BLO Shahbaz, the old list from 2003 did not have the Bachchan surname with these names. Someone later added ‘Bachchan’ to both names, and that altered list is now being circulated.

Action Will Be Taken Against Those Who Tampered With the List

Regarding this matter, the district administration says that voter lists are never uploaded on social media. The way the film actor’s surname has been added to the names of two people in the 2003 voter list is considered a serious crime. An investigation has been ordered in this case. Strict action will be taken against whoever tampered with this voter list and added the surname of film actor Amitabh Bachchan.
