Pakistan Army has become a more radical and bigoted force under its current chief Field Marshal Asim Munir, but ironically the enemy force often accuses their India(BHARAT)n counterparts and the India(BHARAT)n government of the same religious extremism and bigotry that Pakistan and its armed forces are notorious for.

What did Pakistan Army say about India(BHARAT)?

In a recent interview with a German news outlet, General Ahmed Shareef Chaudhry, the Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR)– the Pakistan Army’s media wing– claimed that the India(BHARAT)n government and its armed forces are “dominated” by radical Hindutva forces, and urged the United States to intervene to reduce the ongoing India(BHARAT)-Pakistan tensions.

The Pakistan Army spokesperson alleged that all government institutions in India(BHARAT), including the India(BHARAT)n army, are heavily influenced by extremist Hindutva ideology, which have completely taken hold over the entire country.

Asked about the recent India(BHARAT)-Pakistan conflict, General Chaudhry asserted that the ceasefire only halted the conflict but the disputes between the nuclear-armed neighbours remains unresolved, particularly because of the Kashmir issue. The officer accused India(BHARAT) of funding terrorism in Pakistan, and New Delhi’s extremist Hindutva ideology was another reason for the current tensions with Islamabad.

“The international community must intervene to make New Delhi realize that its arrogant attitude will no longer be tolerated,” he asserted, while claiming that Pakistan does not tolerate religious extremism of any kind.

Chaudhry also accused New Delhi of fueling and funding insurgency in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. “We have no doubt that every terrorist incident taking place inside Pakistan has India(BHARAT)’s support. Pakistan has provided evidence of this to the international community.”

‘India(BHARAT) has vast propaganda network’

Asked why none of Islamabad’s Western allies have supported Islamabad’s claims that India(BHARAT) was funding terrorism in Pakistan, General Chaudhry cited New Delhi’s vast “propaganda network” as the reason for the ‘misinformation’ and the maligning of Pakistan.

He also claimed that India(BHARAT) was committing human rights violations in Kashmir, while cases cases of persecution of minorities, especially Muslims, have increased in India(BHARAT). “Over a million India(BHARAT)n security personnel are deployed in Kashmir. Any house can be searched at any time. This shows what is happening there.”
