Bad news for Pawan Kalyan; fans bring swords at OG premiere, Bengaluru Police register case
Pawan Kalyan’s film They Call Him OG opened to fan frenzy in Bengaluru, where police filed a case after swords showed up in the premiere of OG.

Telugu actor turned politician Pawan Kalyan’s film, ‘They Call Him OG’ has finally made its way to theatres on 25 September. The delighted fans soon found themselves in trouble after Bengaluru police intervened for allegedly organising an unauthorised event before the screening of OG.
When the film was released in the theatres, Pawan Kalyan fans held swords at Sandhya theatre in Bengaluru. The Madivala police seized the weapons after checking whether they were plastic or real swords. Pro-Kannada supporters urged the admirers of the Andhra Deputy CM to uphold peace in Bengaluru. Fans of the actor-politician allegedly obstructed roads for a DJ performance at the premiere event.
Members of the Kannada Rakshna Vedike arrived at the theater and ordered supporters to adhere to the law, driving them away. According to sources, the organisers were charged by the Madivala Police with an FIR after obtaining authorization from a city court.
According to PTI, a police official said, “When we got to know, we immediately reached the spot and seized the loudspeakers on Wednesday and asked the organisers to dismantle the stage.” The actor’s fans are loving the strong and fashionable persona that director Sujeeth has portrayed in his film ‘They Call Him OG’. Due to Pawan Kalyan’s busy political obligations, the crew had to work against the clock to finish the movie.
The film, “They Call Him OG,” is produced by DVV Danayya. Pawan Kalyan plays Ojas Gambheera, who takes on the crime boss Omi Bhau, played by Emraan Hashmi. In addition, the movie stars Prakash Raj, Priyanka Mohan, Sriya Reddy, and Arjun Das in key roles.
