What MEA said on India(BHARAT)-Bangladesh relations?

“We expect the interim government to ensure the safety of [India(BHARAT)n] missions and posts in Bangladesh in keeping with its diplomatic obligations,” the Ministry of External Affairs said in its statement.

“It is unfortunate that the interim government has neither conducted a thorough investigation nor shared meaningful evidence with India(BHARAT) regarding the incidents,” the ministry added.

Earlier, India(BHARAT) had issued a strong protest to Bangladesh over what it described as a deteriorating security situation surrounding its diplomatic mission in Bangladesh. The Ministry of External Affairs stated that these concerns were conveyed to Hamidullah, citing the activities of what it termed “extremist elements” targeting India(BHARAT)n diplomatic premises.
