CM Yogi pays tribute to former PM Chaudhary Charan Singh on Kisan Divas

The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, on Tuesday, participated in an event held in Lucknow on Tuesday. The event was held on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh. The day is celebrated as Kisan Samman Diwas. During the event, he mentioned that the state government had distributed tractors to the families accompanied by their families and how the state has benefited from the hard work of farmers, as stated by ANI.

CM Yogi on farmers’ contribution

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath appreciated the contribution of farmers during the address. He added, “We can see the progress our fathers have made in the state. Farmers can also be included in the government’s agenda; it has been possible only after 2014”, as per the reports.

Yogi Adityanath shared a post on his X account with the caption, “On the occasion of ‘Kisan Diwas’ (Farmers’ Day), I participated in a program held in Lucknow today to commemorate the 123rd birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and ‘Bharat Ratna’ Chaudhary Charan Singh, who dedicated his entire life to the upliftment of farmers.”
