Greta Thunberg arrested in London under Terrorism Act due to…, London Police yet to confirm arrest
Zack Polanski condemned the Keir Starmer-led government in the United Kingdom and shared a video of Thunberg sitting cross-legged on the floor.
New Delhi: Greta Thunberg, the acclaimed Swedish climate activist, was arrested in London at a pro-Palestinian protest. This information was shared by UK-based campaign group Defend Our Jurie on Tuesday, 23 December 2025.
The campaign group, Defend Our Jurie, has claimed that she was arrested under the ‘Terrorism Act’ while participating in the “Prisoners for Palestine” protest outside the offices of Aspen Insurance in London, reports news agency Reuters.
However, the London Police have not yet confirmed the arrest.

Zack Polanski, a Green Party leader and London Assembly member, wrote in a post on X: “Greta Thunberg arrested for holding a sign opposing genocide. When peaceful protest is a crime, democracy is in deep trouble. Happening under a Labour Government.”

Keir Starmer Targeted
He also condemned the Keir Starmer-led government in the United Kingdom and shared a video of Thunberg sitting cross-legged on the floor with a sign that reads “I support Palestine Action prisoners. I oppose genocide” when a police officer removes the sign before reportedly detaining her.
‘Defend Our Jurie’ claimed that they targeted Aspen Insurance in London on Tuesday morning because it provides services to the Israeli-linked defence firm Elbit Systems, reported The Irish Sun.
