DUSU vote counting set for November 25 following High Court directive

DUSU vote counting set for November 25 following High Court directive

New Delhi: Delhi University has postponed vote counting Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) elections 2024-25. Now the vote counting is set for November 25, only a day before the Delhi High Court’s cut-off date. The Chief Election Officer for the DUSU Elections 2024-25, Professor Satyapal Singh in a statement said that the Hon’ble Delhi High Court had directed Delhi University to conduct vote counting on or before November 26, when all irregularities are rectified.

He also mentioned that some irregularities were now not completely addressed in certain areas throughout the survey which resulted throughout the university taking the clean-up process to get it rectified. Attributable to which the counting for the DUSU elections proceed to be held on November 25. As per the ideas, the vote counting will begin from eight throughout the morning on the Conference Centre, opposite to the Botany Department of the North Campus.
