FBI Director Kash Patel in big trouble over social media ‘blunder’ in Charlie Kirk case, he could…
Kash Patel has been called amateur and his professional ability is being questioned.

New Delhi: US President Doland Trump’s special FBI Director Kash Patel is in deep trouble. The US Congress is going to question him this week in the murder of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk. Because in the Kirk murder, he made controversial statements on social media several times, even lied that Kirk’s killer has been caught. Patel will appear before the Senate and House Judiciary Committees on Tuesday and Wednesday (September 16 and 17). He will be questioned not only on the investigation of the Kirk case, but also on whether he can stabilize an FBI that seems to be scattered amid political tug-of-war and internal turmoil.
Doland Trump saved Kash Patel
US President Doland Trump praised Kash Patel on Saturday, September 13, and said that the FBI quickly caught Kirk’s alleged killer Tyler Robinson, but despite this, the criticism on Patel has not stopped. Christopher F. Rufo, a researcher at the conservative think tank Manhattan Institute, wrote on X, “Republicans should consider whether Kash Patel is the right person to run the FBI. He alleged that Patel has performed extremely poorly in the last few days and it is also not clear whether he has the operational expertise to deal with violent groups.”
Conservative commentator Eric Erickson also wrote on X: “The state of the FBI is worrying.”
Kash Patel’s blunder on social media
According to a report in British newspaper The Guardian, far-right groups also mocked Patel when he hastily wrote that Charlie Kirk’s killer has been taken into custody. Later he had to admit his mistake and put up another post saying that the suspect has been released. Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin called it amateur hour and questioned Patel’s professional ability.
Anger and lawsuits inside the FBI
According to agency sources, Patel on Thursday, September 11, expressed anger at FBI employees that he was not even shown the picture of the suspect on time. Patel got caught in another crisis on the same day. In August, three senior FBI officials were sacked, and they have filed a lawsuit, alleging that this was part of the Trump administration’s retaliatory campaign. Brian Driscoll, who is involved in the lawsuit, claims that the reason for his removal was that he refused to sack a pilot with a false identity associated with the raid on Mar-a-Lago, a resort in Palm Beach, Florida, owned by Doland Trump.
