After Israel and Pakistan had a recent heated exchange, there are speculations that Israel may attack Pakistan.
Israel vs Pakistan: After a heated debate between the representatives of Israel and Pakistan in the meeting of the United Nations Security Council, the question is being raised whether Israel can now target Pakistan as well. During UNSC debate, Pakistan’s representative Asim Iftikhar Ahmed accused Israel of “illegal and aggressive action” and said that its attacks in Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, Iran and Yemen are a violation of international law. As a response, Israel’s representative Danny Danon gave a strong response to Pakistan, raising questions on whether Israel can attack.
What happened between Israel and Pakistan?
In the recent exchange of words, Israel has said that Pakistan should not forget that Al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden was found hiding on Pakistani soil and was killed there. He said that then the question was not why America attacked on foreign soil, but why a terrorist was given shelter. Danon alleged that this “double standard” of Pakistan is the biggest problem.

What Israel said against Pakistan?
The Israel-Pakistan debate took place on the 24th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks where Danon said that when the United Nations had decided that no country would give shelter or help to terrorists, the same principle should apply even today. Not sopping here, Pakistan called Israel an “occupier” and “aggressor country” and said that it was misusing the UN platform.
However, this dispute has created new problems in the relations between Pakistan and Israel. Currently Israel’s focus is on Qatar, Iran and Lebanon, but the inclusion of Pakistan’s name in this debate has definitely increased diplomatic pressure.
