Happy Birthday PM Modi: 15 new schemes to be launched in THIS city, special preparations underway to celebrate PM’s special day
Students of the Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology in Delhi have developed these 75 special drones, which will take flight from Thyagaraj Stadium on September 17.

Happy Birthday PM Modi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is celebrating his 75th birthday today. To mark his birthday, several programs are being organized across Delhi. A slew of new schemes will also be launched for the people of Delhi. The highlight will be at Thyagaraj Stadium, where 75 special drones featuring his image will be deployed. According to an NDTV report, students of the Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology in Delhi have developed these 75 special drones, which will take flight from Thyagaraj Stadium on September 17. According to officials, these drones will be handed over to the Delhi Police, with five drones allocated to each district.
Out of the 75 drones, 15 are advanced models developed by the Department of Technical and Training Education. The Rekha Gupta-led Delhi government, on Saturday, said that it would launch several initiatives under the ‘Seva Pakhwada’ campaign to mark the Prime Minister’s 75th birthday.
The key initiatives include the launch of an organ transplantation and awareness portal, commencement of inter-state bus service, rationalization of transport routes, and the addition of 100 new buses.
These schemes are set to be launched on September 17:
- Inauguration of new blocks at Guru Gobind Singh, Sanjay Gandhi Memorial, Acharya Shri Bhikshu, Bhagwan Mahavir, and Shri Dada Dev hospitals.
- Introduction of a new pension scheme for senior citizens covering 50,000 beneficiaries.
- Inauguration of 150 dialysis machines at Burari.
- Establishment of 10 special resource centers for children with disabilities.
- Monthly financial assistance of Rs 6,000 for persons requiring special care.
- Provision of 75 drones to the Delhi Police.
- Inauguration of 101 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs.
- Flagging off of 24 fire quick response vehicles.
- A hostel for visually impaired college-going girls in Timarpur, Delhi.
- Savitribai Phule Senior Citizens’ Home (old-age home) at BG-6, Paschim Vihar, Delhi (with a capacity of 96 residents).
- Foundation stone laying of two Waste-to-Energy (WTE) plants.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate 15 development projects at an event in Thyagaraj Stadium. The morning program on Kartavya Path, under the theme “Thank You Modi Ji,” will begin with a blood donation camp, along with an exhibition and a Seva Sankalp padyatra. The camp, organized near India(BHARAT) Gate, aims to collect 1,000 units of blood. At the Red Fort grounds, 1,250 differently-abled individuals will be provided with artificial limbs on the occasion of PM Modi’s birthday.
