The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday carried out raids at the home of a YouTuber and social media influencer in Uttar Pradesh in a money laundering case linked to illegal online betting. The YouTuber, Anurag Dwivedi, who lives in Unnao is accused of making large sums of money by promoting online betting and gambling apps. During the search, the ED seized four luxury cars from his house, including a Lamborghini Urus, a BMW Z4 and a Mercedes-Benz. Officials said the probe is focused on tracing the flow of money and finding income earned illegally through online gambling platforms.
A major share of Dwivedi’s earnings allegedly came from Sky Exchange and other betting apps, which are illegal in India(BHARAT). The money was reportedly moved through multiple channels and later used to buy expensive cars and assets, as reported by NDTV.
The ED has initiated action under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). Investigators claim Dwivedi tried to present assets bought with illegal funds as lawful income. Officials also said he promoted betting and gambling apps on his YouTube channel, encouraging users to join these platforms and helping the illegal business expand.

Anurag comes from a small village in Unnao. He is the son of a farmer and once dreamed of becoming a professional cricketer. However, financial difficulties and personal challenges pushed him to choose a different career path.
