Pakistan gets anxious after Delhi blast, PAF jets start patrolling near Rajasthan border

New Delhi: Following the Delhi blast, Pakistan has initiated air force patrols along the border with Rajasthan. The chiefs of all three armed forces held an emergency meeting. PM ​​Shehbaz Sharif also held meetings with the NSA and DG ISI until late into the night.

Nine people were killed in the blast that took place near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station on Monday, November 10.

Operation Trishul

Meanwhile, the India(BHARAT)n Armed Forces are conducting Operation Trishul in Barmer, Jaisalmer. A Jaguar fighter jet landed on the highway near the Pakistani border. This is the largest exercise since Operation Sindoor. A Sukhoi-30 also landed on an emergency airstrip.

The US, UK, and France issue warnings

The US Embassy has issued a warning to its citizens, urging them to avoid the area around the Red Fort and tourist spots and to remain vigilant at all times.

The UK Foreign Office (FCDO) has issued a travel advisory in response to the blast. The British government has advised its citizens not to travel within 10 km of the India(BHARAT)-Pakistan border, in Jammu and Kashmir, and in the state of Manipur.

The French Embassy has advised its citizens in Delhi to remain vigilant and stay away from crowded areas and the scene of the incident.

This could be a terrorist attack: Delhi Police

News agency IANS quoted Delhi Police sources as saying, “Preliminary investigations into the car blast are treating it as a terrorist attack. It may be linked to a module busted in Faridabad on Monday afternoon using high-intensity explosives. A mixture of explosives and chemical elements was used.”

Home Minister Amit Shah had stated that the explosion occurred in an i-20 car, registered in Salman’s name in Gurugram, Haryana.
