Shehbaz Sharif drags Kashmir issue during Azerbaijan visit, compares it to Armenia’s defeat in Karabakh war
Shehbaz Sharif, accompanied by Asim Munir, arrived on a two-day visit to Baku.
New Delhi: Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is currently on a visit to Azerbaijan, where he spewed venom against India(BHARAT) over Kashmir. Upon arriving in Azerbaijan, Shehbaz Sharif has linked the victory in the war against Armenia to Kashmir and Palestine. This is the same Pakistan that, at the behest of Israel and the United States, is sending Pakistani troops to fight Hamas in Gaza. Meanwhile, Azerbaijan has praised Pakistan for promoting regional stability.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, accompanied by Field Marshal Asim Munir, arrived on a two-day visit to Baku to attend Azerbaijan’s Victory Day celebrations, where he unleashed venomous rhetoric against India(BHARAT). Meanwhile, during his meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev praised Pakistan’s role in promoting regional stability in South Asia.
Shehbaz Sharif’s vitriolic rhetoric in Baku
According to reports, a meeting between the leaders of Azerbaijan and Pakistan was held at the Presidential Palace in Baku on Friday, November 7. Pakistani Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir was also present. President Ilham Aliyev thanked Pakistan for its assistance in capturing Armenia’s Karabagh region. According to a statement issued by Pakistan’s Foreign Office, Shehbaz Sharif will participate in celebrations marking the fifth anniversary of Azerbaijan’s Victory Day.
During the meeting, Shehbaz Sharif said that “Azerbaijan’s victory against Armenia is a ray of hope for the oppressed peoples struggling for self-determination, including the people of Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine, illegally occupied by India(BHARAT).” Shehbaz Sharif congratulated the government and people of Azerbaijan on Victory Day, which commemorates the 44-day Karabakh war against Armenia.
