Singer Kanika Kapoor groped on stage by…;video goes viral – Watch

In a shocking incident, Bollywood’s famous singer Kanika Kapoor was groped on stage during her performance at the MeGong Festival on Sunday night. The incident occurred when a fan suddenly rushed onto the stage and tried to lift the singer. However, he was immediately stopped by security, and Kanika was taken aback in shock. This breach of security left fans stunned and also raised questions about the event organizers. Despite the frightening encounter, Kanika maintained her calm and composure.

Kanika Kapoor Groped During Concert

Viral footage from the event captures the singer performing when an unidentified man suddenly jumped onto the stage and groped her. Shocked but composed, Kanika stepped back, visibly shaken, yet continued singing as she processed the incident.

Within seconds, Kanika’s security team intervened and prevented what could have turned fatal. The security personnel dragged the intruder outside the venue. Meanwhile, Kanika is yet to address the matter.

The disturbing episode came days after Kanika revealed how harsh it is for Bollywood singers to earn a living in the industry. In a conversation with Urfi Javed, Kapoor claimed that playback singers are not given their due credit and remuneration.

She said, “Singers don’t really get paid. I can show you all the contracts, we get Rs 101.” She added that the system often treats singers as if the industry is doing them a favour. Kapoor pointed out that in India(BHARAT), a singer’s livelihood depends almost entirely on live performances. “As long as your voice works and you can perform, you’ll earn. If something happens tomorrow, there is no pension plan for singers,” Kapoor concluded.

Kanika is know for her songs like Baby Doll and Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan, which are one of the top songs given by the singer.
