After years of dating, finally, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal tied the nuptial knot today (June 23, 2024). While the couple did not go for any traditional marriage customs, they registered their wedding at Sonakshi’s Bandra apartment. The couple celebrated their special day in the presence of their close friends and family. Videos from the wedding are now making rounds on the internet, and wishes for the couple are pouring in.
The pictures from Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding are finally out. The couple looked adorable together. For their big day, Sonakshi and Zaheer went for ivory and white outfits. While Sonakshi looked gorgeous in a beige saree, Zaheer donned in a white embroidered kurta. In one of the pictures, where Zaheer can be seen singing on the marriage papers, it also gives a glimpse of Sonakshi holding her ‘strongest pillar’ aka her father Shatrughan Sinha. Interestingly, the couple tied the knot on the same date when they began dating which is June 23.
Sharing the photos, the couple in a joint post wrote, “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each other’s eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife. Here’s to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever.”

Ahead of the wedding, the Sinha family held a special puja ceremony for their daughter. The ceremony was organized by Sonakshi’s mother, Poonam Sinha. During the event, members of the Sinha family were seen, including her father, Shatrughan Sinha. Also, Sonakshi was spotted at the puja. The Dabang actor donned a royal blue suit as she participated in the pre-wedding festivities.
