Tanushree Dutta Calls Nana Patekar a ‘Pathological Liar’ in Response to His ‘MeToo’ Statement After 6 Years

Bollywood actress, Tanushree Dutta has strongly responded to the recent comments made by Nana Patekar concerning the MeToo claims brought against him. She rebuked him for denying the accusations as false. In a recent Times Now interview, Tanushree expressed that Nana seems nervous as his faithful fan base appears to be decreasing. The former Miss India Universe 2004 shared her thoughts on Nana’s denial of the events that transpired in 2008. She explained, “Now, he is scared and his supporter base in Bollywood has dwindled. All those who supported him are either bankrupt or have sidelined him. People can see through his manipulations now and thus he comes up with another major gaslight. Responding to a six-year-old allegation! Nana Patekar is a pathological liar (sic).”

In a recent interaction with Lallantop, Nana Patekar shared his thoughts on the allegations made by Tanushree. Calm and composed, Nana responded that he wasn’t furious since he knew the claims were baseless.

Tanushree’s Accusations Against Nana Patekar

Tanushree bravely voiced allegations of sexual harassment against co-actor Nana Patekar during the shoot of Horn Ok Please back in 2008. Even though she was heavily criticized by the entertainment fraternity and some politically inclined factions of Maharashtra who were in support of Nana, she courageously confronted the incident anew during India’s 2018 MeToo movement. With strength, she opened up about the repercussions on her career after she decided to speak against the injustice she faced on set.
