Gautam Adani has made a succession plan in which he has decided that he will retire at the age of 70 and divide his business among four heirs. Sons Karan and Jeet and nephews Pranav and Sagar have been given different responsibilities. At the time same, women of the family are also playing important roles.

Mukesh Ambani: Three heirs, three empires
As reported by multiple media reports, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani inducted all his three children into the board in 2023. Isha Ambani has been given the responsibility of retail, Akash Ambani of Jio and Anant Ambani of green energy.
Split of Godrej Group
The 127-year-old Godrej Group divided the empire into two parts by mutual consent in 2024. Adi and Nadir Godrej took over the industry and product business, while Jamshed and Smita got real estate and Godrej & Boyce. Pirojsha and Nyarika are active in the next generation.
