What Caused The Disruption?
As per Mahanagar Gas (MGL), the disruption in supplying CNG at petrol pumps was caused by a stoppage of supply in CGS Wadala, which affected the MGL pipeline system. Major CNG stations across Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai faced the disruption.
It is to be noted that there are around 398 CNG pumps in Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Out of these pumps, 152 are in the city.
