Chandu Champion Box Office Collection Day 1: Kartik Aaryan’s Inspirational Sports Drama Opens at Just Rs 4.75 Crore, Actor’s Lowest Opening Post-Pandemic

Chandu Champion Box Office: The sports drama directed by Kabir Khan, which stars Kartik Aaryan in the lead role, has largely received positive reviews. But according to early estimates from Sacnilk, Chandu Champion barely made Rs 4.75 crore when it debuted at the domestic box office on Friday. With such an adverse start, the film will now rely mostly on word-of-mouth from the public. Chandu Champion also aims to profit from Bakri Eid, which falls on a Monday.

Chandu Champion Day 1 Box Office Report

Chandu Champion‘s current opening is less than that of horror comedy ‘Munjya‘ (Rs 4.21 crore), a movie without a celebrity face, and much less than that of ‘Mr And Mrs Mahi,’ starring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor, which brought in Rs 6.85 crore on its first day of release thanks to Rs 99 tickets.

Chandu Champion is perhaps the lowest-grossing Kartik Aaryan film in years. His last low-grossing film was ‘Guest in London‘ in 2017, which brought in Rs 2.80 crore. After ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha,’ which costarred Kiara Advani bought Rs 9.25 crore, and ‘Shehzada,’ with Kriti Sanon and got Rs 6 crore. With this sports drama, it will be the third straight Kartik release to miss the double-digit mark on Day 1.
