INDIA bloc CM face Tejashwi Yadav makes BIG announcement ahead of Bihar assembly election, says ‘If we win, there will be more…’

RJD leader and Mahagathbandhan’s chief ministerial candidate Tejashwi Yadav said on Thursday that if his alliance wins the Bihar election, the state will have more than one Deputy Chief Minister. He also confirmed that Mukesh Sahani, the chief of the Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP), will be one of them. “Mukesh Sahani will become the Deputy Chief Minister and will speak for the people from extremely backward communities. We will also have other Deputy CMs from different religions and communities. You will hear about them soon,” Tejashwi said while addressing a rally in Saharsa.

Earlier in the day, Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son Tejashwi was officially announced as the Mahagathbandhan’s Chief Minister candidate, while Sahani was named as the Deputy CM candidate.

Tejashwi said the people of Bihar are unhappy with the current government and are ready for change. He also claimed that BJP-ruled states have the highest crime rates in the country.

Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Tejashwi said, “PM Modi builds factories in Gujarat but wants votes in Bihar. That won’t work. We Biharis are brave, we don’t fear outsiders.”

Tejashwi Yadav has officially been named as the Mahagathbandhan’s Chief Minister candidate, a decision announced at a press conference a day earlier. Alongside him, Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahani, who played a key role during the seat-sharing discussions, was declared the Deputy Chief Minister candidate.

Tejashwi, who will once again contest from his traditional Raghopur seat, expressed his gratitude to Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi for trusting him with the leadership role. Until now, the Congress had avoided projecting him as the CM face, even though he shared a close rapport with Rahul Gandhi during the Voter Adhikar Yatra.

The Bihar Assembly elections will take place in two phases, on November 6 and 11, and the results will be announced on November 14.
