‘We are being slaughtered’: Israelis cry for help as Hamas militants go on slaughtering spree

Israeli citizens cried for help as Hamas fired approximately 2,500 rockets from Gaza into central and southern Israel, with some reaching as far as Jerusalem- while Palestinian militants infiltrated communities in southern Israel via land, sea, and air.

According to reports, residents in southern Israel were begging the military for support, expressing their desperation and need for assistance.

“We are being slaughtered. There is no army. It has been 6 hours,” one Israeli in a southern kibbutz was quoted by the New York Post as saying that people are begging for their lives.”

Hamas militants fired thousands of rockets and sent dozens of fighters into Israeli towns near the Gaza Strip in an unprecedented surprise early morning attack during a major Jewish holiday Saturday, killing dozens and stunning the country. Israel said it is now at war with Hamas and launched airstrikes in Gaza, vowing to inflict an “unprecedented price.”
