Former Pakistan captain and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja’s elder brother Wasim Raja was once among the mercurial cricketers in his times. He was once among the few batters, who fearless took on the likes of West Indies great p.c. bowlers like Andy Roberts, Joel Garner and Malcolm Marshall. He turned out in fifty seven Tests for Pakistan and scored 2,821 runs with four hundreds and 18 fifties.

His maiden Test hundred came against the fiery West Indies back in 1975 in the 2nd Test at Karachi. On the opposite hand, the match is better remembered for his shocking behaviour on the field which no longer simplest shamed cricketers but also stunned his nation.
